Counselling
Skylight’s counselling team provides therapy and counselling support in Adelaide.
The team draws on a range of evidence-based counselling approaches, supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. Our Counselling support focuses on building insight, practical coping strategies, and confidence, while creating a safe and supportive space for reflection and growth.

Therapeutic Groups
Skylight Mental Health offers fee for service therapeutic group programs for people who want to build skills, strengthen emotional wellbeing, and support their recovery in a structured group setting. These groups are designed to support your mental health goals, social participation, and capacity building, while providing a safe and supportive environment to learn, reflect, and connect with others.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT)
This 8-week DBT skills group supports people to better manage emotions, thoughts, and behaviours using practical, evidence-based strategies. Facilitated by experienced practitioners, the group provides a supportive space for learning, reflection, and skill development.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
This 6-week ACT group supports people experiencing anxiety or depression to develop practical skills for managing difficult thoughts and emotions. Facilitated by experienced practitioners, the group provides a supportive space to build awareness, flexibility, and coping strategies.

Sound Minds
This group supports people who hear voices, see things others do not, or experience unusual thoughts or beliefs in a safe and non-judgemental setting. Participants are supported to share experiences, build understanding, and explore new ways to learn and grow together.

Art Therapy
Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy which uses creative modalities, including art-making, sounds, and movement to improve and enhance mental and emotional well-being. Our registered Art Therapist facilitates the group where participants can share their experiences in a safe environment. 1:1 sessions are also available.

Trauma Sensitive Yoga
An evidence-based program specifically designed for people living with the effects of Complex Trauma and PTSD. The sessions provide an opportunity to reconnect with your body through gentle movement, with the guidance of a registered Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) facilitator.
