Pat’s interest and specialisation is in psychosocial rehabilitation, especially vocational rehabilitation. Pat has completed a Masters of Applied Science by Research looking at the issue of managing mental illness at work and worked in vocational rehabilitation from 1989. “I believe that organisations such as Skylight are a critical player in the mental health field"
Bec Maerschel
Bec MaerschelVice President
Bec is a member of the Guardianship Board who has worked across the Guardianship and Administration Division and the Mental Health Division. She is an active member of the St Vincent de Paul Society Outreach Program, a school volunteer and an appointed member of the South Australian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) “I will aim to provide a link between the legal and justice systems and those who experience it, as either a protected person or support worker/carer. I hope to be a source of knowledge of the law and relevant issues to those affected by mental illness”
Geoff Pritchard
Geoff Pritchard Treasurer
A Chartered Accountant, Geoff joined the Skylight Board in June 2013 as Treasurer. He has worked as an Audit Manager with Deloitte and has held senior roles in finance and administration with companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of health and personal care products. “I aspire to serve Skylight by helping where my experience and aptitude might be valuable and contributing to overall governance and financial issues as a member of the Board”
David Meldrum
David MeldrumBoard Member
David brings managerial experience and expertise of the health and community services sector to the Skylight Board. He has worked at a state and national level and has an extensive network of contacts in the sector. David has been on the Skylight Board for ten years, and has a good understanding of its programs, finances and human resources. “My experience and my profound admiration for Skylight and its people helps me to contribute useful advice on matters of policy, governance and the overall development of Skylight”
 Adam McCallum

Adam has 20 years’ experience in senior management and project management with expertise across numerous disciplines including business improvement, stakeholder management, quality and risk control, relationship building, personnel and budget management. He is a strong advocate for promoting acceptance of mental illness and supporting people who struggle with it day in and day out. “Having been exposed to those challenged by mental illness, I understand the importance of the work and support that Skylight offers, and it is an honour to be a member of the Skylight board”
Mark Haddad

Mark is a Chartered Accountant with degrees in Applied Finance and Commerce Accounting, a Diploma in Financial Planning and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA). Mark has firsthand experience of family and friends who have been affected by mental illness and understands the limitations that exist within our society. “I am an advocate of creating awareness for people living with mental illness in the workplace and I am passionate and committed to breaking down the stigma associated with mental health within the community. I am proud and honoured to be a part of Skylight”
Lisa Thiele
Lisa ThieleBoard Member
Lisa is a consumer representative with personal experience of mental illness and brings a unique blend of lived experience and work experience to the board. She volunteers for community organisations, has an Economics degree and Certificate 4 Peer Work Mental Health. Lisa is interested in providing support and encouragement to people who lack confidence and are struggling with pain, identity and life issues. “I believe my experience as a Skylight recipient and employee will advantage the board and be a voice for people living with mental illness and their carers”
Jane Moularadellis
Jane MoularadellisBoard Member
Jane is a legal practitioner and during her time in practice she has held decision making roles, and practiced as a prosecutor and in private practice. Her work has also included managing advice services to a homeless shelter and a Women’s shelter. “During my time in practice I have seen the far reaching effects of mental illness on all areas of peoples’ lives. My aim in being involved with the Skylight Board is to utilise some of the skills I have gained in practice and life generally to better advocate for services for those with mental illness”.
