Lived Experience Telephone Support Service (LETSS)
LETSS is designed to provide:
- information on mental health topics
- help navigating the mental health system in Adelaide
- real-time emotional support and connection
All LETSS Peer Workers bring personal lived experience of recovery, either through their own mental health journey or by caring for someone with mental health challenges. They draw on this experience to offer understanding, empathy, and practical support tailored to each caller’s unique situation.
LETSS is only a phone call away 1800 013 755 or live chat via the LETSS website www.letss.org.au
Follow-up and Wellbeing Check Service
A key feature of Lived Experience Telephone Support Service is the follow-up and wellbeing check service. Scheduled follow-ups and wellbeing checks can be arranged for individuals after discharge from hospital or other mental health services, helping support continuity of care and ongoing wellbeing.
